The Sound
Orchid is a female fronted rock band based out of Dayton, Ohio. They have been likened to Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Lacuna Coil, yet none of these artists truly tell the story of their unique sound. They effectively blend crushing guitars, pounding drums, driving bass and emotional screams with delicate melodies, acoustic guitars, smooth bass, gentle percussion, and other eclectic sounds to create a sound that is different without causing isolation. The band truly has tastefully mastered diversity.
The Story
Orchid formed in September of 2003. The band had searched extensively for other musical outlets. What they found surpassed expectation. They hope the same is true with you.
